At Alvin Equipment Co., we have the special opportunity of
meeting a wide variety of customers. Through interacting,
sharing product knowledge, and building relationships, we have
come to know some of them very well. We felt that it would be a
good idea to share some of their stories with you from time to
time. This month we have highlighted
Alfred Froberg and Froberg Farms. Mr. Froberg

What
is your favorite piece of equipment?
A Farmall 140 originally purchased at
Alvin Equipment Co.
Do you have a unique application for your
equipment?
This would have to be my plastic
layer. This piece of equipment attaches to my new Kubota
M6800HD 4WD tractor / loader and lays drip irrigation while
also laying plastic over the drip line area to irrigate and
protect our vegetable plants.
How did you hear about Alvin Equipment
Co.?
We (my Grandfather) bought our first
Farmall at Alvin Equipment in the 1950’s and have done all of
our equipment business there ever since.
What made you decide to buy from Alvin
Equipment Co.?
Dad took over the farm in the 1950’s
and always kept our business there due to the great service they
always provide. I took over our fruit and vegetable farm when
my Dad passed away in 2002.
Is there anything else about yourself that
you would like our other customers to know about you?
I know that if I
need a special part or piece of equipment, all I have to do is
call Alvin Equipment. They are always there to help. I have
just purchased another Kubota M series tractor which is stronger
and I believe better able to do more work with all of my
attachments without having to change tractors.
